At RSM our people don’t just go forward, they grow forward with purpose, advancing their careers and making a positive impact on their colleagues, clients and communities.
With an ever-evolving workforce, we are focused on sustaining our inclusive culture and providing an unrivaled talent experience for our people today and for those who will join us in the future. Our goal is for all of the employees and owners in our offices around the world to feel empowered to achieve their full potential.
Career paths today are not always linear. To retain our top performers, RSM has put a renewed focus on talent mobility, making it easier than ever to move into a new role or try something or somewhere new through a rotation. Whether it’s changing teams, lines of business or offices, or even moving to a new country, RSM’s dedicated internal mobility team is there to help.
"Living and working in Latin America has profoundly enriched my perspective, enhancing my adaptability, cross-cultural communication skills and professional growth,”said Bryan Carreto, assurance senior manager currently serving as an expat based in Mexico City.
RSM is dedicated to fostering a culture of development and helping our people to learn, grow and thrive. This fiscal year, we enhanced our feedback tools and resources and up skilled our people managers to ensure that RSM employees receive the perspectives they need to understand their strengths and opportunities to grow.
“At RSM, where we thrive on collaboration and excellence, understanding how my work affects my colleagues and our clients is essential,” noted Melissa Stetler, a manager in our FutureMakers development program. “When I've asked for feedback, it has often led to moments of clarity and growth that I never anticipated."
We understand that our people are more than employees. To bring the best version of themselves to work, they need to be supported both personally and professionally. That’s why RSM continues to have a strong focus on wellbeing.
Rosemary Mantle, RSM’s 2024 caregiver of the year, affirmed the impact of our supportive culture. “I am deeply grateful to be part of an organization that understands the importance of family and supports my dual role as a caregiver and a professional,” she said. “This level of support has made all the difference, allowing me to manage my responsibilities at work while being therefor my family.”
RSM is committed to creating a welcoming environment where all people feel a sense of belonging. One way we do this is through our employee network groups (ENGs), which build community and celebrate all walks of life, interests and backgrounds.
Adrian Romero, former leader of one of RSM’s 12 ENGs, notes the impact the ENG shave in supporting people from all backgrounds. “Our firm is doing a wonderful job understanding the need to meet our employees where they are in order to support, up skill and create a path to success in everyone’s career,” he said. “It’s a true testament to the power of being understood, our yearning to be and do better, and our desire to provide a culture that is unmatched.”
